And then one day we started asking a different question.

The plastic spatula that had changed colour. The chopping board with knife marks running all the way through it. The container we'd been heating food in for years. We had no idea what was in them. And the more we looked into it, the more uncomfortable we got.

We weren't prepared to keep cooking and eating with materials we couldn't account for. Not for our kids. Not for our families.

But there was another problem too.
