No plastic anywhere in it
Three meals a day, every day, for years. It's worth knowing what those meals are sitting on and with this the answer is simple.
Nice enough to leave out
The thing we hear most is that people don't want to put them away. Open shelves, benchtops, stacked next to the kettle. They look better out than hidden behind a door.
It matches whatever your table already is
Timber, linen, marble, laminate. Plain steel has no colour to clash with, so you're not stuck buying a whole new look to go with new plates.
Nobody has to be careful with it
No "hold that with two hands", no keeping the good set in the top cupboard. Steel takes the tiles, the dishwasher and years of knives and forks. The fine scratches & dents that come with that are the proof it got used.

Why Australian families are making the switch.
No mystery
Steel surface. Nothing underneath. Nothing to flake off into dinner.
Ends the replacement cycle
Buy it once. Ceramic chips. Plastic warps. This doesn't.
Kid-proof. Guest-ready.
Tough at the table. Beautiful when it counts.

Have questions?
What's included in The Forever Table?
Six dinner plates (21cm), six bowls (15cm), three 200ml cups, and three 400ml cups — eighteen pieces in total. All 304 stainless steel, brushed satin finish, double-walled and dishwasher safe. Families buy this as the set they never have to think about again.
What sizes are the plates and bowls?
The dinner plates are 21cm and the bowls are 15cm. The mix of 200ml and 400ml cups means the set works across ages — smaller cups for younger kids, larger for adults and older children. Plates and bowls stack flat, which makes a real difference when you're storing eighteen pieces.
Will it scratch over time?
Yes — and that's worth being upfront about. Stainless steel picks up light scratches with daily use, particularly from cutlery and the dishwasher. That's the material behaving exactly as it should.
The brushed satin finish is chosen specifically because it wears well. Unlike polished steel, which shows every mark, the brushed surface absorbs scratches into the grain over time. Most families find the set looks better at two years than it did at two weeks — a little more settled, a little more theirs.
This isn't dinnerware that stays perfect in a cabinet. It's dinnerware that goes on the table every day, goes through the dishwasher every night, and accumulates a history with your family along the way. The scratches are part of that.
If you're after something that stays showroom-pristine forever, stainless steel isn't it. If you're after something that lasts decades regardless, it is.
Can I put stainless steel dinnerware in the microwave or oven?
Neither, unfortunately. Stainless steel and microwaves don't mix, and our dinnerware is designed for the table rather than oven use. For reheating, a saucepan on the stovetop does the job.
Is this set suitable for adults or just kids?
Both, though most families buy The Starter Table specifically for their kids and add a larger bundle for the adults at the table. If you're after a full set for four, The Family Table is where most households land.
What material is this made from?
304 stainless steel throughout — no coatings, no composites. Families switch to this after realising their plastic plates and bowls were degrading in the dishwasher over time. The steel doesn't change what it's made of whether it goes through the dishwasher once or a thousand times.
Care Guide - How do I look after the set?
304 stainless steel is about as low-maintenance as dinnerware gets — which is part of why families switch to it.
Dishwasher safe every time, no exceptions. If you prefer hand washing, warm water and a mild dish soap with a soft cloth is all it needs. Dry it promptly to avoid water spots, though the brushed satin finish is forgiving enough that most families don't bother.
For anything stubborn — the occasional stain or dull patch — a paste of baking soda and water applied with a soft cloth, then rinsed and dried, brings it back. A wipe with a little white vinegar followed by a dry cloth does the same job.
No abrasive scourers, no steel wool. Everything else is fair game. The set is built to be used daily and washed daily — that's the point of it.
What's your returns policy?
30-day beautiful home trial, no questions asked. Most families keep it — but if it's not right, return it within 30 days for a full refund. No forms, no friction.
